I have a confession: I think I may be addicted to cooking.

As most of you know, I enjoy mealtimes, meal prep and planning (I’m a planner at heart). I love thinking about what we’ll have for lunch and dinner, which ingredients I have on hand and which I might need to pick up. Some weeks, we have a new recipe each night; other weeks – it’s staple after delicious staple. E and Arco don’t seem to mind either way – they’re the sweetest crew.

We’ve had some new-to-us-meals recently: duck, Hungarian Partridge and a smattering of elk/deer creations. Below are photos of dishes we’ve made over and over, as well as those new dishes I speak of. I hope to make each again or recreate them to some degree:

Curry vegetable stir fry over baked acorn squash.

Hungarian Partridge with roasted veggies!

Pasta mix with a zesty lemon vegetable salad and couscous (Arco’s favorite grain).

Sautéed tofu and spinach dressed in Coconut Aminos with a side of broccoli.

E went duck hunting. I don’t have a photo of the dish we made, but a photo with my handsome lad holding said duck is best!

A typical lunch for Arco: cheesy toast, broccoli, couscous and sautéed tofu with grapes.

Creamy tofu and vegetable frittata!

Buttered shrimp, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and mushroom medley.

This was E’s latest hunt – four beautiful Blue Grouse! Any recipe ideas?
