  1. Looks like a great way to spend the weekend:)
You’re lucky you have a kindle-I want one! Reading any good books?

    1. It was definitely a lovely way to spend the weekend! Very relaxing, indeed. No kindle here — our little iPad does the trick. It’s a sleek, handy little bugger. I am reading a few books: ‘Tis, by Frank McCourt and The Omnivore’s Dilemma by Michael Pollen. They are good. I am hoping to finish them by the weekend.
I also like to pick up the personal favorites often — both are very motivating and have good insight into climbing and running. They are: Espresso Lessons by Arno Ilgner and Born to Run by Christopher McDougall (which I could read 100 times over). Super good stuff! I need a new book soon though. Any recommendations?

  2. Here are four (think you would love them all!)
Northern Light (a beautifully written novel, easy to get lost in)
Hunger Games (got totally caught up in this trilogy! Written for young adults, but I loved it!)
The Time Traveler’s Wife (movie version didn’t come close to how good the book is!)
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (sounds like it should be funny… but it is gripping)

    1. Thanks for the good reads, MK! I am stoked to get my nose in them. Maybe I will make a visit to the library soon and see if I can find these there. I love new books!

    2. my sister is obsessed with hunter games! i still haven’t read it. if you like that, you may enjoy UGLIES. I think there are four other books after that, also written for young adults:)

  3. Hey Little Bit, I have Potatoe Peel “on tape” if you want me to send it to you. Very well read by several characters. A agree with mom, its a good read.

    1. Poppa S! That would be wonderful. I would like that very much. Thank you for sharing!
